Product Notice: Update Screw Tightening Torque for Panel Mount Power Supplies PMT2 and PMR Series

For Delta’s panel mount power supplies PMT2 and PMR Series, the maximum recommended screw tightening torque for mounting holes using M3 screws is 7 kgf.cm (6.08 lbf.in), which is superior to the industrial standard of 5 kgf.cm (4.33 lbf.in) based on the same screw material.

To prevent the use of screws that do not meet industrial standards, potentially causing thread slippage or installation matching issues, Delta has updated the maximum recommended screw tightening torque in the datasheets and manuals from 4~7 kgf.cm (3.47~6.08 lbf.in) to 4~5 kgf.cm (3.47~4.33 lbf.in).
